Liza Coughlin
Liza brings fourteen years of strategic planning experience to the board. Liza's consulting background has primarily been in the area of child and teen healthcare. She has led operational improvement projects that streamlined existing systems and guided strategic partnerships between major hospital networks. While healthcare is her background, Liza is passionate about equitable access to education and personal empowerment through education. Liza has volunteered at New Legacy Charter School since 2017, has served on their board since 2021, she is currently serving her second term as board chair. Liza is excited to expand her involvement in education by serving on the board of the Nathan Yip Foundation. In her spare time, Liza enjoys running, hiking and skiing with her family and watching her 3 young children play and be curious. Liza received her B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University.
