Dr. Joe Wagner
Joe, who was born in South Dakota, grew up in Wiley, CO, and is the science teacher at Eads High School in Eads, CO. This is his ninth year of teaching and is still very passionate about education and science, and tries to pass that passion onto his students. Joe has a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Oklahoma Panhandle State University, a Master's in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University, and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Walden University. Both of Joe's parents were in education. His father just retired as a professor at Colorado State University and his mother has been in education at the primary, secondary, and collegiate levels. This has helped Joe become very familiar with the educational and research/science fields. Additionally, he has two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law who are elementary teachers; and his wife is a preschool teacher. Joe is excited to bring his background and passion for education to the foundation in order to help educators and students around the state.
