Alan H. Frosh - President

Alan H. Frosh is the Co-Owner and Chief Community Officer of the Tattered Cover Book Store, having led the acquisition of the Denver institution in December 2020, with two partners and a group of investors.  He is also the Founder and President of Frosh Philanthropy Partners, a philanthropic strategy firm specializing in incorporation, start-up governance, social entrepreneurship and next-generation fundraising.  A sixth-generation Denver native and three-time alumnus of the University of Denver, Alan has devoted his career to the community in which he was raised and has extensive experience across the social, private and public sectors.  An alumnus of El Pomar Foundation’s Fellowship Program, Alan presently serves on the Board of Directors of the Anti-Defamation League’s Mountain States Region, the Nathan Yip Foundation, and the LoDo District, along with advisory boards or committees for Temple Emanuel, the Denver Foundation, the Daniels College of Business, and the Mountains & Plains Independent Booksellers Association.  Alan was also recently named to the 2021 Class of the Colorado Governor’s Fellowship Program.
