Bayfield High School’s three-year vision is to transform Career and Technical Education so every student graduates prepared for college, career, or military service. The district will strengthen four pathways, Health Sciences, Construction Trades, Agriculture, and Business & Marketing into a regional model serving Bayfield, Ignacio, and surrounding communities. Through partnerships with Ignacio High School and the Southwest Colorado Education Collaborative, students will gain access to industry-grade equipment, certifications, and work-based learning rarely available in rural settings. This initiative increases engagement, improves attendance and readiness, and builds a sustainable, homegrown workforce pipeline for Southwest Colorado.
